Yes, all products are vegan by default. No dairy or eggs are used as standard, and no animal based products either.

Whilst we haven’t obtained the relevant testing yet for gluten free products, we do use non-gluten containing ingredients throughout the kitchen, even in our own personal food consumption and adhere to this strictly.
Therefore, we believe the food items produced would be suitable, but cannot say with 100% confidence without going through the relevant testing and certification.

We don’t use any GCI’s in the kitchen to cook with, as the founder is gluten free herself.

We use certified gluten free flour blends, and source most of our ingredients from suppliers that have stated their products are gluten free. The kitchen is kept clean to a high standard, and is regularly deep cleaned.

Yes. The owner obtained a food safety for retail qualification in April 2018. This is to be renewed in 2021. Any staff employed will also need to complete this qualification.

The standard vegetable margarine we use does, but from sustainable sources. When searching for a vegan margarine that doesn’t use soy as an ingredient it became apparent it was either going to be to hard to source, or too expensive to use a butter replacement that didn’t contain both soy and palm oil. The vegetable margarine we use states that it is committed to using sustainable palm oil. Please find more information here – https://www.dairycrest.co.uk/commitments/palm-oil/
The pastry we use also contains sustainable palm oil.

If you wish for your products to be palm oil free, we can do this with all but the pastry items. This will incur an extra cost as the alternative is four times more expensive (if it was cheaper, we would use this all the time!)

The main purchase point is right here on this site. You can also find our products in Sheaf St Health Food Store in Daventry, as well as other stockists.

We also attend various vegan fairs, free from events and markets around the country, so follow us on Facebook or Instagram to find out where we are going to be next!

We have various different delivery options. Please see our delivery info page.

Any products purchased on the site for delivery will be packaged in solid boxes with bubble wrap and corn starch based packing peanuts. Where possible, I have tried to source the most eco friendly alternatives. For example, our bubble wrap is recycled and can be recycled. Our tape is paper based instead of plastic, etc.

In summer months you may find a cooler pack in with your items to keep them fresh.

To protect the items you have purchased. These are corn starch based, not plastic, and they dissolve in water or can be composted.

If you’re looking for weird and wonderful ways to use these up, try entertaining yourself or your children by applying a little bit of water to the noodles. They will stick together and you will be able to create cool little creatures with them! Feel free to tag us on Instagram with your creative noodle creatures!

You’ll also find our Packaging Unicorn – Evelyn, on Instagram!
